What We Do
Sussex Place Ventures invests from two funds:
Regents Park Partners LP, a private investor fund which was raised in August 2007 and invests in venture capital and smaller private equity deals, and a University-based seed fund, the Combined London Colleges University Challenge Fund.
Regents Park Partners LP We are looking to invest in earlier stage businesses led by known entrepreneurs and management teams from around the UK.
The fund will invest after the seed financing stage when the potential portfolio business is winning customers and can demonstrate that it is solving real problems.
Sussex Place Ventures is owned by the London Business School. As a result we are in a privileged position to leverage the Business School's alumni base and an entrepreneurial cluster which has evolved around the School.
In particular Sussex Place Ventures is able to tap into a wealth of industry knowledge, management skill and sales experience which resides in the alumni community for the benefit of portfolio companies and investors in its funds.
This fund is supported by a multi disciplinary, international Advisory Board.
Combined London Colleges University Challenge LP Sussex Place Ventures is investing seed capital in science-based spin-outs from three London Colleges, University College London, Kings College and Queen Mary Westfield College.
Sussex Place Ventures is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
